The Grand Opening of the Rukari Rwandan Ancient History Museum

Taking Place May 24, 2008

It will be a historic day when the palace that once was the home of King MUTARA III Rudahigwa will be officially opened as the "Rwandan Ancient History Museum."

Work has been completed, books have been printed and are ready for sale, and the grand opening and inauguration of this new branch of the Institute of National Museums of Rwanda will take place on Saturday May 24, 2008 begining at 10:00 am. You will find the new exhibits near the town of Nyanza.
