The humus and thin layers on the surface contains most probably, the most important natural resource in the country. But with the heavy rains, steep slopes, the constituents of the soil are so oftern subjected to erosion caused by human interventions.


For many decades, efforts have been multiplied to fight against soil erosion. Various techniques have been applied: anti-erosive ditches, reinforced by fences, terraces on the less steep slopes, and so on.....
